Dark fruits, damson plum, with fennel seed notes. Aromas of honeysuckle, dried apricots, orange peel, elderflower and mandarins with a hint of sweet caramel. Butterscotch sweetness, molasses and maple syrup notes intertwine with lively mandarins, lemon curd and lime sorbet. Vibrant acidity perfectly balances the sweetness.A burnished bronze with an alluring rim of olive in the glass. The nose opens with a cascade of walnuts, toasted almonds and complex oak character, followed by dried fruits, pears and apples, with cinnamon. Aromas of citrus with gentle stonefruit characters on the nose. On the palate, it shows lemon and grapefruit favours, rounded out by ripe stonefruit, and a dry balanced finish.Riesling 50%, Pinot Gris 25%, Gewurz 11%, Chardonnay 10% and Viognier 4%, made as natural as possible using 100% wild yeast. Aromas of lemon, musk and peach. The palate is full bodied with lemon flavours leading into lovely ripe stone fruit coming through and a finish reminiscent of roses.Whole bunch pressed with wild fermentation, 12% was fermented on lees in large old oak barrels. Rich and aromatic on the nose with lychee and ripe fruit aromas. The dry, medium-bodied palate shows musk and Turkish delight characters and a very long, mouth-filling finish.A blend of Pinot Gris, Gewurz and Riesling, the grapes were all hand-picked, crushed, co-fermented on skins with wild yeast, creating an ‘orange’ style that is completely natural.
