His son Jason Lett continues the family tradition.Maceration is a white blend developed to allow for creativity and flexibility in the cellar each year as Johan continues to explore the potential of their non-traditional white grapes with Gruner Veltliner, Friulano and Kerner all being prime candidates for skin contact.A blend of Blaufrankisch 34%, Pinot Noir 25%, Zweigelt 15%, Kerner 14% and St Laurent 12%, the fruit was direct pressed, yielding a bright and focused wine with beautiful acid and light red fruit. The disco label highlights a favourite Johan music genre and the gregarious Johan hens. The Jazzy Juice philosophy came from a desire to make a juicy and bright, lighter-bodied red by direct pressing most grapes and floating some clusters and berries in the juice during fermentation to add a touch of colour and tannin. The final blend is 80% Pinot Noir (reverse saignee) + 20% Pinot Gris.Johan’s Estate Pinot Noir is the most representative blend of the vineyard and a given season, and they strive to include at least one barrel from every block in the blend. Fermented using native yeast with 26% whole-cluster fermentation, aged for 11 months in French oak barrels, 4% new.The Nils was created to capture a specific expression of Pinot Noir, with barrel selection focused on power and weight, leading to a more masculine expression of Pinot Noir. It accentuates the dark fruit and earthy base, showing power and elegance, through balance and complexity.Naturally balanced yields and cooler weather throughout the growing season produced lower sugar levels with beautiful acid, lower alcohol, and nice concentration of flavours and aromatics. Showing a dark deep fruit profile, the nuance and subtle complexities of this elegant wine really shine. The Zweigelt grape is the most widely planted red grape in Austria, producing wines that are bright, playful, and quaffable. A collision of red raspberries, blueberries and black pepper, it is juicy, nervy and oh so drinkable! The label features the Great Blue Herons that love to hang out in Johan’s ponds.Eyrie pioneered Pinot Gris is the United States, and takes a slow approach to Pinot Gris, aging it 3-4 times longer than most commercial versions on its natural yeast lees, in the company of full malolactic. The result is textural suppleness to complement the acidity, and surprising ability to age.Two clones, one selection massale (replanting new vineyards with cuttings from exceptional old vines), and a five-decade span of vine age contribute to a diverse and complex Chardonnay. Fermented with indigenous yeast in neutral French oak, aged on lees for 11 months without stirring.Pinot Noir 77%, Pinot Meunier 8%, Trousseau 15%. A light-bodied juicy wine with great acidity. Very aromatic nose with red fruit carrying into the palate. Crunchy tannins give structure to the playful fruit notes.Made from the first Pinot Gris vines planted in the New World, it was fermented from the juice by wild yeasts. Light gold, with crunchy apple and a touch of five spice coming through on the front palate. A rich mid-palate balances creamy ripe pear and floral tones, and leads to a lengthy, polished finish.Disco Chicken Rose ‘21Van Duzer Corridor, Willamette ValleyBlaufrankisch34%/Pinot Noir25%/Zweigelt5%/Kerner14%/St. Laurent12% Alc.12.1% Jazzy Juice ‘22Van Duzer Corridor, Willamette ValleyPinot Noir80%/Pinot Gris20% Alc.12.4% Estate Pinot Noir ‘21Van Duzer Corridor, Willamette ValleyPinot Noir Alc.12.4% Nils Pinot Noir ‘19Van Duzer Corridor, Willamette ValleyPinot Noir Alc.13.2% Blaufrankisch ‘19Van Duzer Corridor, Willamette ValleyBlaufrankisch Alc.14.1% Zweigelt ‘21Van Duzer Corridor, Willamette ValleyZweigelt Alc.9.8% Estate Pinot Gris ‘21Dundee Hills, Willamette ValleyPinot Gris Alc.13.6% Estate Chardonnay ‘21Dundee Hills, Willamette ValleyChardonnay Alc.12.7% Estate Trifolium ‘20Dundee Hills, Willamette ValleyPinot Noir77%/Trousseau15%/Pinot Meunier8% Alc.13.6% The Eyrie Pinot Gris ‘17Dundee Hills, Willamette ValleyPinot Gris Alc.13.5% The Eyrie Vineyards
