For the 2020 vintage, it was 100% fermented in Spanish amphorae. Alluring beeswax aromas intertwined with jasmine and pink peppercorns. Nuanced, weighty and refined, the amphorae add a tactile texture in the mouth.Sibling to the Home Block Moutere Chardonnay, it exhibits Moutere characters in a complex combination of restrained and elegant savoury notes, bound together by a hazy summer evening feel. Mineral, concentrated and complex, it shows a reassuring harmony of oak, fruit and fl int.The 40th vintage of the Home Block Chardonnay shows a clear fingerprint of restrained power, calming harmony and mineral purity. Cool climate jasmine blossom and river stones with notes of fresh brioche. Brilliantly framed by subtle oak, it is sophisticated and complex.Single vineyard, organically dry-farmed, and aged in French oak.
