Distinctly varietal showing ripe, fresh red fruit characters matched with appealing, savoury French oak aromatics. The palate is bright and vibrant with a fleshy mid-palate and lovely length.A lovely ripe lift of aromatics showing passionfruit, melon and pineapple, together with herbal notes of bell pepper and grass. The palate is concentrated and crisp, with lovely weight and a bright clean finish. A small percentage was fermented on lees in old French oak to add complexity. Lees aging has produced a sparkling of great complexity.
