Aromas of blackberry, cherry, mulberry, earth, cedar and spice on the nose, the palate is rich, concentrated, and savoury, showing layered tannins.Reflecting a cooler year, it displays oyster shell minerality with a grapefruit freshness, and more weighty melon and pawpaw fruits. Bright, palate-tightening grapefruit acidity drives the long palate with texture from barrel fermentation. A pithy texture lends weight and a long lingering finish.Perfumed aromas of violets, vibrant blue and black cherries, with a Campari lift and hint of stalk heightening the characteristic Pinot Noir spice notes. The refreshing elegant fruit palate shows some stalk tannins and structure of whole bunch use, with older oak highlighting the fruit purity.Violets and plummy fruits make for a lively, generously fruited wine entwined with pink peppercorn spice notes. The elegant, cool-climate style is medium-bodied, with a cool undercurrent of blue fruits on the succulent and richly layered palate, supported by stalk tannin firmness.Showing black mulberries and blueberry fruits with some bramble lift in a medium-bodied classic Claret style.
