Aromas of blueberry, violets and tobacco leaf on the nose. Cassis, blackberry and plum with a hint of white pepper contributes to a rich yet elegant palate. Great natural acidity adds complexity, and makes for a mouthwatering finish.Hunter Valley Semillon is lean and racy in its youth, but develops texture and complexity with age. Fruit from Fordwich Sill makes for a rich, soft Semillon with excellent palate weight. Lemongrass and lime peel dominate the nose, the palate is light and full of citrus. Vibrant acidity adds line and length.A bush vine blend of Shiraz 85% and Mourvedre 15%. Aromas of mulberry and blackcurrants are followed on the palate by cocoa and rich forest fruit flavours. Fine tannins and subtle oak frame the fruit providing a fuller style of Hunter Valley Shiraz with lifted aromatics from the Mourvedre.A truly unique co-planted block of mostly Tempranillo, scattered with Graciano and Shiraz, with the fruit harvested and fermented together. Plump, red and blue-fruited Tempranillo is framed by the tannins and structure of Shiraz and freshened with the brightly acidic and fragrant Graciano. An early pick was direct pressed to concrete and old French oak puncheons, a late pick fermented on skins to dryness, both using ambient yeast. Bright, fresh stonefruit on the nose, with a grapefruit oil twang. Textural with salted peach pith and apricot kernel bitterness. Chewy and salty with bright acidity.Margan were pioneers of Italian varietals in the Hunter Valley, planting their Barbera vineyard in 1998. Slight reduction and lifted purple fruit on the nose follows through on the palate with trademark Barbera acidity and a grip of amaro-like tannins on the finish.A family-owned winery established in Kenton Valley in the Adelaide Hills in 1998. Mike Press began selling wines under his own label later, and soon created a reputation for outstanding quality and value. The fruit was picked at exactly the right baume to create a clean crisp white with excellent fruit aromas. The palate shows a balance of green characters including green pea and kiwifruit, lovely acidity and crunch, leading to a clean and savoury finish. An unwooded Chardonnay from the Adelaide Hills, it is a light straw yellow. Aromas of grapefruit, melons, apples, and nectarine. The full rounded palate is refreshing and crisp, with stone fruits finishing with minerality and complexity. Some ‘green’ notes on the nose and back palate provide lift.Made from 100% Pinot Noir from 25-year old vines in the Adelaide Hills. A wonderful ‘eye of the partridge’ colour. Fresh complex fruit featuring cherry and strawberry, with a lingering, well-balanced mouthfeel. Seamlessly balanced body and structure, with a savoury, crisp dry finish.Whole bunch pressed to ensure flavour and integrity of the fruit, lovely red and black cherry is complemented by earthy tones. The nose shows a fresh violet lift with a spicy complexity. The soft length on the palate is balanced by fine tannins, contributing definition and structure. From a 23-year old vineyard planted with cuttings from 100-year old vines. A rich palate with ripe red cherries, blackberry, and plums, with integrated spices and vanilla from time in oak. A balanced red that can easily be enjoyed now but will cellar well for 5 years and longer.Made from estate fruit planted in a single vineyard in Lobethal in the Adelaide Hills in 1998, aged in a mix of American and French oak. The beautiful earthy character of the nose is complemented by soft berry fruits on the palate. An easy to drink red that goes well with richly flavoured dishes.Shiraz S’21Hunter Valley, N.S.W.Shiraz Alc.13.1% Mourvedre S’21Hunter Valley, N.S.W.Shiraz85%/Mourvedre15% Alc.13.2% Graciano Shiraz S’21Hunter Valley, N.S.W.Tempranillo/Graciano/Shiraz Alc.13.4% Breaking Ground Albarino S’22Hunter Valley, N.S.W.Albarino Alc.12.5% Breaking Ground Barbera S’22Hunter Valley, N.S.W.Barbera Alc.13.0% Sauvignon Blanc S’23Adelaide Hills, S.A.Sauvignon Blanc Alc.11.6% Chardonnay S’22Adelaide Hills, S.A.Chardonnay100% Alc.13.3% Rose S’23Adelaide Hills, S.A.Pinot Noir Alc.12.6% Pinot Noir S’22Adelaide Hills, S.A.Pinot Noir Alc.14.0% Shiraz S’21Adelaide Hills, S.A.Shiraz100% Alc.14.9% Mike Press Wines
