ダーレンベルグの新商品フィアーノは、イタリア南部の土着品種。地中海性気候で乾燥したマクラーレン・ヴェイルに適合し、暑い気候でもしっかりとした酸を保持、豊かな果実味と塩味を帯びた質感が注目を集める。一番搾り果汁のみで造られ、「ザ・サン・サーファー」の名は、海岸で太陽を浴び自由に遊ぶサーファーをイメージ。
Fiano is a grape variety native to southern Italy, and is well-suited to the dry, Mediterranean climate of McLaren Vale, retaining firm acidity even in the hot climate, with notable rich fruitiness and saline texture. The wine is made exclusively from first-pressed juice, perfectly matching the ‘The Sun Surfer’ name which evokes the image of a sun-soaked surfer enjoying beach life.

‘HRW’ is typically considered below the premium ‘Hendry’ range, but this cork-closure 2020 HRW Zinfandel is in a class of its own. While it shares the same name as the sold-out screw-cap version, it is a ‘Hendry’ premium level wine, with different vineyards and vinification methods. Concerned about market trends due to wildfires and other factors, the producers chose to release it as ‘HRW’. It's a real bargain we obtained in 2025!

ポルトガル南部、暑く乾燥した地中海性気候と片岩質土壌を主体とする高原の畑は無農薬栽培で、ほぼ灌漑なし。自社畑は全畑アレンテージョのサステナビリティ・プログラムの認証を取得している。樹齢7-50年のブドウはすべて手摘みし、自然発酵。10ヶ月間の熟成は、50%フレンチオーク樽50％ステンレス槽で果実の純粋さを保つ。
Located in the hot, dry Mediterranean climate of southern Portugal, this vineyard, located on a plateau with predominantly schist soil, is cultivated without pesticides and with little to no irrigation. All of the estate's vineyards are certified under the Alentejo sustainability program. Grapes from vines ranging from 7 to 50 years old are hand-picked and spontaneously fermented. Aged for 10 months in French oak 50% and stainless steel tanks 50% to preserve the purity of the fruit.
