The purity of the fruit is astounding and leads to a seamless integration of the residual sugar and acidity.A surprisingly overt nose of citrus flowers, elderflower and crushed stone. The palate, by contrast, dances rather than shouts with white peach, citrus and florals woven around a centre spine of acid. with hints of brioche. The dance settles to a seamless saline and mineral finish, pure to the very end. A classic nose of dark blossoms, rose and violet with a compote of dark fruits. Black cherries and cream on the nose lead into cherry crumble and baked spice notes on the palate.
