A blend of Pinot from all 3 Chehalem vineyards grown on different soil types, the complementary nature of the lots is obvious in the intensity and complexity of the wine in the bottle. An intense, red-fruited Pinot with hints of black tea, smoke, and warm brown spices such as clove, nutmeg, and cardamom. High-toned fruit, edgy bright acid, fine tannins, and mineral length lead to a clean and succulent finish. Elegant with exceptional aging potential.

ボルドーの生産者に、「なぜセミヨンとソーヴィニヨン・ブランをブレンドしないか」と聞かれ、ピーターレーマンの醸造家は、彼のセミヨンを見せました。その生産者は、「確かにブレンドすべきでないね」と納得したそうです。セミヨンがオーストラリアの白ワイン用ぶどうに占める割合は9％と意外に少ないですが、セミヨン100％はオーストラリアの特技。しかも、すばらしく長熟で、熟成によりエレガントな蜂蜜香が生まれます。
Semillon has found a natural home in the Barossa. One of the very first white wine grape varieties planted by European settlers in the 19th century, it is now blessed with a rich heritage of old, low yielding Semillon vineyards. A mild and dry vintage produced high quality fruit for this unique Semillon style, unoaked, lively, zesty, refreshing and crisp with plenty of fruit flavour and great length. It has firmly established itself as Australia's favourite Semillon.

This single vineyard wine from the alluvial Brightwater soils of Maggie's Block shows the terrior of the area in its pear flavour spectrum. Luscious, fleshy and harmonious, aromas of pear, frangipani tart, nectarine and a hint of spice are complemented by a round and delicious palate, with a touch of sweetness nicely restrained by acidity and tannins to give a pleasantly drying finish. A superb wine with Asian and Japanese dishes.
